Hello to all!
Hope all is swell.
"The Morning After". We have all been there. Constantly testing our invincibility via late nights, bar hopping, food comas, and even Netflix binge-ing. Besides the dark bags under our eyes that give us away, it is also our clothes that taddle our choices of the night before. On the other hand, is there a way to shamelessly wear our choices on our sleeves, while maintaining a level of confidence and style?
For today's outfit, I wanted to revamp the classic wrinkled over sized boyfriend button up, which was thrifted from Beacon's Closet. Growing up, it has been ingrained that something absolutely can not be worn if the item is wrinkled. But what if I do not have time and I must make a split decision? To combat this predicament, I figured to pair a unconventional piece of clothing with clothing that are "presentable" to balance out the outfit.
To balance the button up, I decided to wear a burnt orange skirt from Forever21 and a pair of velvet textured boots from Urban Outfitters.
With the skirt and shoes being advent in texture and color, a level of sophistication is added without being blatantly obvious that this shirt was perhaps the same one I woke up in. To finish off, I wore my black watch from Micheal's.
Is there an item in your closet that can go from the sheets to the streets?
If so, what is it?
Until next time,
